Beginning October 9, 2018, the Shippensburg Area School District will become more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology and maintain fiscal responsibility by moving to a new electronic flyer communication tool called “Peachjar.” District approved flyers from community groups and organizations will be posted digitally on each school’s web page. Paper flyers will no longer be distributed within the schools.


You will receive a Welcome email from Peachjar that will include a username and password. This is provided to give you the opportunity to manage your account and flyer delivery preferences. You do not need to login to receive or view school digital flyers, they will be posted online for easy access by clicking on the Peachjar logo. Whenever a flyer is posted to your child’s school web page, you will receive a notification by email, the email address that you have on file at the school. (When you receive your first eflyer, be sure to click “always display images.”)Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

Community Partners/Program Providers:  

To request flyer approval, follow the steps below.  Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents/guardians and posted online to the school(s) you have selected.  Paper flyers will no longer be distributed.

  • Upload your flyer for approval


Your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district office. District staff will review the material and approve or deny based on district standards. Peachjar charges a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school.
