Opening for a School Board Member in District B

The Shippensburg Area School District Board of School Directors has an opening for a School Board Member in District B which encompasses Shippensburg Borough–West End, Orrstown Borough, and Southampton Township -  Franklin County.  This vacancy is due to the resignation of a Board Member.  The appointed individual will finish serving the term until the Reorganization Meeting in December 2023.  Interested parties should submit a letter of interest, resume, and Statement of Financial Interest on or before 3:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 23, 2023, to Mrs. Cristy Lentz, Board Secretary, as to why they would like to fill the vacant seat.  Letters of interest, resumes, and Statement of Financial Interest may be emailed to cristy.lentz@ship.k12.pa.us.  The Board of School Directors plans to appoint a candidate to fill this vacancy at the March 27, 2023 Planning/Action Meeting.  Please check back for any updates regarding this process.
